Accessing Archived Checks:

Once a check has been archived, you can still access certain information within the "Archived" section of the portal. The system retains a footprint of previous checks for a period of up to 90 days after being archived.

Contents of the Footprint:

The footprint provides key details to help you identify the archived check without compromising sensitive data. This includes the reference given to the check, the first letter of the first name, and the first letter of the second name. Additionally, the footprint specifies how many characters each name consisted of, ensuring you can differentiate between multiple checks.

Data Purging for Privacy:

To uphold the highest standards of data protection and privacy, all other details of the check are purged from the system after it's been archived. Rest assured that sensitive information is securely removed to safeguard your clients privacy.

90-Day Retention Period:

The footprint data remains accessible for 90 days from the moment the check is archived. During this period, you can refer to the footprint to retrieve relevant information related to the archived check.

Complete Purge after 90 Days:

Once the 90-day retention period has passed, the footprint data is also purged from the system. This final step ensures that no trace of the archived check remains, further enhancing your clients privacy and data security.
