How Your Clients Complete Their Verification

Your client completes their verification on their phone, by following these steps:

  1. Open the link. Open the verification link from the text message in Safari or Chrome.

  2. Verify Me. Read the introduction, then tap Verify Me.

  3. Privacy Policy. Read the Privacy Policy, scroll down, tick to agree, then tap Continue.

  4. Enter address. Select your country of residence and enter your address, or type it in manually.

  5. Allow location. If asked to share your location, tap Allow.

  6. Capture ID. Tap Capture my ID to open your camera.

  7. Photograph your ID. Make sure the photo is clear and the text is readable. You may also be asked to photograph the back.

  8. Confirm details. Check the details read from your ID and correct any that are wrong.

  9. Face verification. Tap Continue to open your camera.

  10. Record a video. Keep your face inside the oval with nothing covering it, and smile when prompted.

  11. Finish. Wait for the Verification Complete message before closing your browser.

Troubleshooting

The link opens in the wrong browser

Set Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) as the phone's default browser, then open the link from the text message again.

Only a QR code shows

This means the browser is showing the desktop version of the site.

  • Chrome: tap the three dots in the top-right corner and untick Desktop site.

  • Safari: tap the aA icon in the address bar and choose Request Mobile Website.

The page will reload and start the verification.

The camera won't open, or there's no Allow button

In the phone's settings, allow camera access for your browser.

If camera access is already allowed, or the problem happens during the selfie video, a network firewall is the likely cause. Try one of these:

  • switch from work Wi-Fi to mobile data or home Wi-Fi

  • forward the text message to another phone and finish there
