If this is happening whilst trying to take a photo of the ID, firstly check if the user has their camera permissions enabled

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click on Apps

  3. Click on your default web browser (i.e. Chrome or Samsung Internet)

  4. Click on Permissions

  5. Click on Camera

  6. Change camera to Allow only while app is in use

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click on your default web browser (i.e. Safari or Chrome)

  3. Ensure Camera is set to Allow


  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click on Apps

  3. Click on your default web browser (i.e. Chrome)

  4. Click on Permissions

  5. Click on Camera

  6. Change camera to Allow only while app is in use

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Go to App management

  3. Go to Special app access

  4. Go to Modify system settings

  5. Click on your default web browser (i.e. Chrome)

  6. Enable or Camera

If camera permissions are enabled or this is occurring whilst trying to complete the selfie video, the likely cause is due to firewalls/security protocols within the network or device itself. If the user is connected to Work Wi-Fi, advise them to swap to data or try again once on home Wi-Fi. Otherwise, forward the SMS to an alternative device.
