How to remove/suspend a user from APLYiD

Please note a Company Admin will need to complete the following steps

โ€‹Step 1: Accessing the 'Preferences' Tab:

On the left-hand side of the Control System interface, locate and click on the 'Preferences' tab. This is your starting point to manage various account settings and user permissions.

Step 2: Accessing 'Accounts':

Within the 'Preferences' section, find and click on the 'Accounts' option. This allows you to view a list of user accounts in the system.

Step 3: Searching for the User:

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find the specific user account you wish to manage.

Step 4: Utilizing 'Actions':

Once you've located the user account, navigate to the right-hand side and click on "Actions" against the user. This will reveal a dropdown menu with further options.

Step 5: Choosing 'Suspend' or 'Delete':

From the dropdown menu, you have the choice to either 'Suspend' or 'Delete' the user account. Consider the following information before making your decision:

Suspending an Account: Selecting 'Suspend' will revoke the user's access while retaining any pending checks and completed checks associated with that user in the system. This option allows for the temporary suspension of an account without losing data.

Deleting an Account: Opting for 'Delete' will render any pending checks associated with the user invalid and permanently remove any completed checks and archived check records associated with that user. This option is more suitable for instances where a user's account needs to be completely removed.
