How to download, print, or share a verification report

How to access, save, and distribute completed APLYiD verification reports

Updated yesterday

Downloading a report

Once a biometric check is completed:

  1. Log in to APLYiD and go to Biometric β†’ Completed

  2. Find the relevant client record

  3. Click Actions β†’ Download Report

  4. The report will download as a PDF to your device

Important: Reports must be downloaded within 7 days of completion. After 7 days, the check is automatically archived and the personal data is purged. See What happens once a check is Archived?

Printing a report

Once downloaded as a PDF, open it in any PDF viewer and use your standard print function (Ctrl+P on Windows, Cmd+P on Mac).

Sharing a report with a third party

You can share the downloaded PDF with colleagues, clients, or third parties such as solicitors or auditors. The PDF can be emailed or uploaded to a document management system.

Privacy note: The report contains personal identity information. Only share it with parties who have a legitimate compliance or legal reason to receive it, and in line with your privacy obligations.

Can I give my client a copy of their report?

Yes. The PDF report can be shared with the individual client if they request it. It contains their verification result and the identity data used in the check.

The report is not opening or showing an error

Try:

  • Downloading it again from the portal

  • Opening it in a different PDF viewer (e.g. Adobe Acrobat)

  • Checking that your browser is not blocking the download

If the issue persists, contact APLYiD support with the check reference number.

I need a report but the check has been archived

Unfortunately archived checks cannot be retrieved and reports can no longer be downloaded. APLYiD recommends downloading and storing reports immediately upon completion as part of your compliance record-keeping.

Tip: Always download and store verification reports immediately after completion to maintain your audit trail, as archived checks cannot be retrieved.
